Gloucestershire Carers Emergency Scheme
Do you care for someone? What would happen if you got caught in a emergency?
The Gloucestershire Carers Emergency Scheme (CES) can help. It will help to give you peace of mind that the person that you care for will receive support if an emergency arises which prevents you from caring for them.
Emergency situations for example could be :
– becoming ill or having an unplanned hospital admission
– other family emergencies
– being delayed due to unexpected travel issues
Caring for someone approaching the end of their life
This can be a sad and challenging time for you; you may want answers to questions which are difficult to ask. This leaflet gives you details about several organisations that may be able to help.
It is often helpful, where possible, to plan for death in a positive and proactive way. Some of the information in the following links may be helpful.
